Science Meets Art!

Third graders turn the science lab into a paper-making factory!
Using the paper they recycled at school, students sorted and processed different types of paper to turn it into new, useable paper!
Some properties of papers could be used for writing letters while other paper types will make great art projects!
Thank you to our parent and teacher volunteers!

It was a lot of fun learning the process of making paper. I enjoyed watching and listening to the students As they discovered what paper pulp feels like, and how to squeeze out all the water, and then the great sheet of paper they made after the whole process! They’re very excited and had lots of fun, and so did I!
