First Grade Scientists Explore Mystic Aquarium!

First grade scientists explored the amazing animals that live in the world of the earth’s oceans!

At Mystic Aquarium Students felt, first-hand, the slimey coating of a Ray and the bumpy skin of a starfish. They saw powerful Beluga Whales and sea lions gliding swiftly under the water,  playful penquins divng and  popping to the surface and delicate, lacey jelly fish moving gracefully!

Thank you to the twenty adult chaperones who worked with small groups of children!
