You are invited to attend an exciting Microgravity Day at the EHGEMS Family Science Day on March 21, 2009, 2-4pm,
We will highlight the work of our students in grades four through twelve on our NASA experiment. We will have never before seen video and photos taken inside the Zero G plane!
There will be exciting events for all ages!
- Defy gravity- Can you drop an egg from the ceiling of the gym without breaking?
- Can you launch a rocket and hit the moon?
- Can you build an lander to safely land astronauts on the moon?
- Build a model of the Aires rocket and Orion space vehicle!
- Learn how our fourth graders are raising and releasing Brown Trout into the Blackledge River.
- Bring home free NASA stuff and learn how to see the International Space Station from your backyard!
- Buy books from the book fair!
- If it is sunny, you may be able to look safely at an image of the sun and look for sunspots.
- We will have a video of the recent Shuttle launch and video of life inside the Space Station!
